Recipes of Pais Patin



Ingredients ;
  • 1 silver catfish- washed with tamarind and salt water
  • ½ cm of turmeric live - need to be blended
  • 20 pcs of chilli fire (red & green) - mix chilli & blend
  • 2 pieces of turmeric leaf - cut into rough pieces
  • ½ senduk tempoyak
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Banana leaves or turmeric leaves to wrap fish
  • Toothpick 
Cooking Method ;

  1. Combine ingredients that have been blended with salt, sugar and tempoyak.
  2. Mix well and stir in silver catfish. Make sure the whole fish is covered with the ingredients.
  3. Sprinkle turmeric leaves on the fish.
  4. Wrap and bake until cooked. If you want to pack the fish properly, put the toothpick on the leaves to cover the fish.
